An agent transacts under a scoped, revocable spend mandate. Alyte enforces that mandate server-side across three checks (agent authentication, merchant inventory reservation, PSP confirmation), then the merchant's own PSP settles the charge to the merchant's own account.
The spend cap and scope are enforced server-side from the agent record, never read from the prompt or the token, so a prompt-injected or misbehaving agent cannot raise its own limit. Inventory holds are one atomic database operation, so oversell is impossible by construction, not just checked for.
No. Money moves merchant to the merchant's own PSP to the cardholder. Alyte only moves instructions and tokenized references, and invoices its fee separately, never netted from funds in transit.
Alyte is protocol-neutral: it consumes and enforces scheme attestation standards including Visa Trusted Agent Protocol (TAP), Mastercard Agent Pay, and Verifiable Intent, at the point of reservation, across any agent including bring-your-own-agent (BYOA).
